Nice place. Great hiking trails. But unfortunately little choice in gastronomy.

Very nice rustic ambience. Price / offer: Very good. We were already 5x in Rothenburg on the Christmas market and are in this restaurant the 2km out of town is always well accommodated. Own kitchen which conjures very good and abundant food on the table. Rooms are partly getting old but very clean.

Absolutely recommended! We were with our 10 month old child (here young tribe) here. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. A special feature is the host to call, which is not only very kid-friendly, but hospitality lives and expresses. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. We would come again and again! Thank you for the wonderful time

Contrary to the partly negative reviews we had an excellent night, breakfast was rich. Special requests were fulfilled without hesitation. Service was good. Price performance ratio excellent.

We had a great time here! The inn is typically Bavarian with cozy, spacious rooms. The food in the inn as well as the breakfast was great. Particularly noteworthy, however, is the sympathetic host, who really enjoys his job, so that you feel completely comfortable. We would come back anytime!

What a lovely place to stay! Situated in a small, cosy village 15 minutes walk from Rothenburg, the guesthouse/inn is comfortably away from the tourist crowds so that you get an authentic impression of the Bavarian hospitality. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms are nice and clean and the food is great. Highly recommended!

In one word: great! The owner himself still served fantastic and in a 'John Cleese way'. Very comical! Tip: say "Gruß gott" upon arrival.

We loved it. It's a small, cozy parlor with rustic service, fair prices and a small menu. We had cordon bleu and sauerbraten and loved it. The quality of the food was convincing and the drinks menu was also good. We also really liked the in-house schnapps. We were lucky that we made a reservation as a lot of people wanted to eat there in the evening, also a proof of quality. Warm kitchen is available from 6 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. We will definitely be back!

Oh lordy we're landed in German food heaven. Wonderful local wines, and fantastic hearty food with the most cheerful Maitre D'. Great value and a quick bit of effort with Google Translate gave us a starting chance with the menu. Highly recommended.

This is our 4 stay and the owner is just so friendly and caring. Its an nice little place in heaven. Can only say that this place is wonderful
